SCHSRA
Meet our SCJHP

Brittany Baker
When I started my first year of South Carolina Jr. Rodeo, I never imagined that I would end the year as the very first Jr. High School Rodeo Princess! I started my first year of rodeo with my small but willing pony Cheyenne, not to win, but to be a part of the rodeo. I’m sadly retiring her this year and will be competing with a new friend named Sterling.
I’m so excited about my year as Princess! From the time I was five years old, I have dreamed of becoming High School Rodeo Queen, and running for Princess helped me to better prepare for the Queen’s contest. I had so much fun running for princess this year. It was a great experience practicing for the horsemanship, cramming the rule book, and being interviewed by all of the judges. Out of all of the pageants that I have competed in, this is the only one that I really enjoyed. This pageant isn’t opinionated. It is truly an achievement that you have to work for. I encourage any girl who is willing to work and study hard to enter the Princess contest. Winning this title means so much to me and I plan to represent our South Carolina Jr. Division to the best of my ability. I’m so excited about getting this year started and seeing all of my friends!
Rodeo!
